Manisha KoiralLa is in FinLand for her honeymoon.

Manisha Koirala may have disappeared from the silver screen but this Nepali beauty is having

a great time with her husband, Nepalese businessman Samrat Dahal in Sievi, Finland where the

couple is spending their honeymoon. Manisha had always wanted to go to Europe for her

honeymoon and had been quoted saying, “I’ve planned a dream honeymoon for us. I’ve been to

the European destinations before as a single woman. This time it’s different.”

Talking about the after marriage feelings, a nostalgic Manisha told, “I feel different now

that I’m married. It’s as though I’ve found my bearings in life. There’s a new sense of

belonging, as though there’s someone constantly there to support me, to hold me when I fall.

I’ve never felt this way before.”

Manisha also expressed her desire to stay in touch with Mumbai even after her marriage but

she added that she will do only selected movies and would not be interested in decorative

roles.

Action and comedy are the fLavours for Abhishek Bachchan this season.

Abhishek Bachchan is onto some grueling action flicks this season. He is just back from

Greece where he had been shooting for Abhinay Deo’s ‘Game’ which has some slick action

stunts. He is also doing another action flick Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Khelenge Hum Jee Jaan

Se’ which has yet more back-breaking grueling action sequences. Then, he has teamed up with

Uday Chopra once again for Dhoom 3.

About his sequel-to-a-sequel Dhoom 3, he says, ‘Dhoom 3 is being scripted. Dhoom is nothing

without Uday and my character. We are the backbone of the film.’

Apart from action flicks, Abhishek is also trying his hand at comedies to be directed by

Anees Bazmi and Vipul Shah. He has also signed in for ‘Dostana 2’.

‘Initially, I was against doing a sequel to Dostana. I couldn’t see how Tarun Mansukhani

could make it funnier. But he said, ‘Let me write the script. You’ll be the first person I’d

narrate it to. If you don’t like it, then I’d throw it away.’ Believe me, Dostana 2 would be

twice as funny as Dostana,’ says Abhishek.

As for the question of choosing action and comedy as the genres, Abhi says, ‘I’m not a

calculating actor. I don’t choose the genres, rather the genres choose me. I follow my

heart.’

He adds, ‘I am impatient. I like to do a lot of work. I’m happy with the zest with which I

work. If tomorrow I want to do only one film a year, I’ll do that. Right now, I’m enjoying

being a prolific actor. How many actors can claim to have done two films as diverse as ‘Paa’

and ‘Raavan’ one after another?

Priyanka Chopra off to Phuket for 28th birthday.

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who has been busy shooting for her forthcoming films

'Anjaana Anjaani' and 'Saat Khoon Maaf', has chalked out time to celebrate her 28th birthday

in Phuket, an island in the south of Thailand.

"Priyanka has gone to Phuket with six of her friends... all girls! She will celebrate her

birthday there... her schedule was planned to make sure she got the time off," a source

close to the actress told IANS.

Though Priyanka didn't reveal where she is heading for her sojourn, she posted on

micro-blogging site Twitter: "Off for my sinful holiday with my girls! Oh sooooo needed

it... See you guys in paradise."

The actress, who turns 28 Sunday, is expected to be back in Mumbai July 27.

Priyanka, who won the Miss World title in 2000, made her Bollywood debut with "The Hero:

Love Story of a Spy" in 2003, after which she featured in "Andaaz".

In 2004, she received critical acclaim for her performance in "Aitraaz" and later did

commercial films like "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi", "Bluffmaster", "Krrish", "Don - The Chase

Begins Again", and "Salaam-E-Ishq".

It was Madhur Bhandarkar's "Fashion" that brought her into the league of top-rated actresses

in Bollywood, and even won her a National Award.

There has been no looking back for her ever since.

She was seen in commercial hits like "Dostana" and "Kaminey" and also featured in films like

"What's Your Rashee", and "Pyaar Impossible", which didn't fare too well at the box office.

Nevertheless, she has films like "Anjaana Anjaani", Vishal Bharadwaj's "Saat Khoon Maaf" and

"Don 2 - The Chase Continues" in her kitty this year.

I want to do something different: Sonu Nigam.

There was a time when he was the voice behind every other hit Bollywood song, but now Sonu

Niigaam says he wants to chart a new course. He's working on a musical project in the US and

judging a children's show aimed at bringing Indian and Pakistani children together through

music.

"I want to do something different now. I recently came back from Los Angeles. I am working

on a musical project there," Sonu told IANS in an interview, explaining his irregular

presence in the film world.

"In India everybody knows me, I have a name here but in America they don't know me so well.

So there is a song that I want to release in America. I'm just seeing if I can facilitate

the release over there...currently I'm busy with that.

"Working on a few other collaborations as well, but won't be able to reveal details just

yet," added Sonu, who is known for chartbusters like "Sandese aate hain" ("Border"), "Yeh

Dil" ("Pardes"), "Kal ho naa ho" ("Kal Ho Naa Ho") and "Saathiya".

Sonu gained popularity as a host for music show "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa" in the 1990s and he is now

set to return to the small screen -- this time as a judge.

The singer will be judging music reality show "Chhote Ustaad 2", which will feature 10

children from India and 10 from Pakistan, along with Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

"I did get offers for shows earlier too, but I didn't like them too much. This one is more

musically inclined and also spreads a wonderful message of love and peace across the

border," Sonu said.

The show will air on STAR Plus from July 24.

"Children have an impressionable mind; so inculcating positivity and a feeling of

brotherhood in them from this age will result in a very good future. It's a good initiative

and I hope people will appreciate it," the singer said.

Apart from his new ventures, there is something else Sonu is proud of -- his three-year-old

son Nevaan. Sonu, who got the gift of music from his father, singer Agam Kumar Niigaam, says

his son not only sings but has already turned composer!

"He sings and dances all the time. In fact he has also started composing even though he is

just three. He has composed three songs which are very catchy," Sonu told IANS.

The 36-year-old singer married Madhurima Feb 15, 2002, and they had a son July 25, 2007.

"In fact it's not that he's become musically inclined now. Since Nevaan was eight months old

I used to sing and he used to sing in the same pitch. It is shocking but true!" said Sonu.

Kangana And HaLf A Million USD!

It has been revealed that Kangana Ranaut would have a dozen different look. She would be

seen in 12 different looks for a forthcoming movie on the origin of the dreaded and much

infamous Mumbai underworld.

However, the shock and the surprise punch you in the face, since the 12 different looks as

mentioned above cost a mind-numbing 20 lakh Indian rupees or approximately 50,000 USD. This

is the amount of money that has been spent so far.

This humongous heap of money was spent for the role that she's been cast in, for the film

Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai. The Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut's role in the film is

inspired by and is based on the renowned heroine of Bollywood, the scintillating diva and

undoubtedly one of the most amazingly beautiful Indian women ever to grace the silver

screen. Yes, we are talking about the one, the only Madhubala.

In order to provide the feel as well as the look of vintage, old Bollywood Hindi cinema, a

total of 12 diverse hairdos were given to Miss. Ranaut's looks.

As one can imagine, the look or rather the gamut of looks that she sports, is the most

expensive style to be ever donned by a Bollywood heroine.

which is said to be a thirty million dollar film. The movie is to be directed by Reuben

Fleischer and stars Jesse Eisenberg and Danny MacBride.

Anil had met Ben Stiller in LA and had showed him the reel of Sonam’s forthcoming venture

‘Aisha’. After Stiller saw the show reel, he sent an e-mail to Anil saying he thought Sonam

was ‘fantastic’ and that he wanted to cast her.”

Akshay Kumar and ‘Mausam’ with Shahid Kapoor and also with her forthcoming ‘Aisha’

Sis faces heat on SaLman-Katrina.

The Katrina Kaif-SaLman Khan romance is over. Okay, so it had gone stale a long time ago, but people are still talking about it because neither has come forward to say that they have made a clean break from each other.

And so the sham continued. Anyway with the status of their romance reportedly being null and void, Arpita Khan, Salman’s sister is now back on a social networking site. Sometime ago, Arpita was forced to take a break because people constantly wanted her to throw light on her brother’s relationship with his girlfriend. Arpita is very closed on this matter. So much so, that she actually took a long break to avoid answering messy questions.

They had so much of fun during the promotion. , Imran called Sonam ‘aunty’ in front of everyone. He left no stone unturned in pulling Sonam’s leg.

While director Puneet Malhotra and Sonam addressed the press in Delhi, Imran told the reporters that Sonam couldn’t see anyone of them.
“She can’t see any of your faces. She’s blind as bat. She can just see me and Punit,”

Sonam too wasn’t behind in pulling a few fast ones on Imran. For instance, she suggested Imran to try his Luck in South Indian film industry. Lol!!

the Emma chooses Bollywood over Hollywood.

She packed her bags and left her home with a Bollywood dream in her eyes.

Australian actress Emma Brown Garett, who made her acting debut with Bengali film 'Shukno Lanka', is determined to stay here and make it big in the Indian film industry.

Brown is the latest addition to the list which includes 'Raajneeti' actress Sarah Thompson, 'Kites' star Barabara Mori and 'Rang De Basanti's Alice Patten. But unlike her contemporaries, who disappear after one film, Brown shifted to Mumbai two-and-a-half years ago with her husband to act in Bollywood.

"There is a romantic element to coming and working in India. It is challenging as an actress. Everybody asks me, 'Why dont you go to Hollywood?' I say, 'Why not Bollywood?' As an actress I always want to try something different. And the work is here. So I am here to stay," Brown told.

Brown, who has trained at the Dramatic arts school in Australia, has made the maximum city her home and has no intention of going back anytime soon.

The actress will be next seen in Rohan Sippy's 'Dum Maro Dum' with Abhiskek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu and Dharmendra-Sunny Deol starrer 'Yamla Pagla Deewana'.

Although she began her career with a Bengali film and then went onto work in Bollywood, Brown insists the transition has been an exciting challenge.

"It is a big difference going from Tollywood to Bollywood. You can't judge one against the another but I have quite enjoyed the transition," said Brown, refusing to divulge further details about her roles in the two films.

The actress feels that directors are making way for foreign characters in movies in order to give their films an international appeal.

"Bollywood scripts are changing. A lot of these actresses are playing wives and girlfriends. Directors and writers are using these characters to have a greater appeal in the international film fests. It is an added way of getting noticed," said Brown.
